Gold Coast to Sydney Marathon fundraise challenge!
Over the course of 2 months, I'll be participating in 2 seperate Marathons - Gold Coast and Sydney. One of my goals this year was to give back to the community in a way where I could make an impact, and take part in something greater then a self accolade, so I decided to take part in a challenge to run two marathons and to raise money to help find a cure for childhood cancer.
Every week, 20 kids will be diagnosed with cancer and on average 3 will lose their life. There is usually no known cause, treatment can go on for many years and it puts an enormous strain on family life.
I've known people affected, and also know people who have lost loved ones to childhood cancer, and I've seen how it can reshape the lives of an Individual or family for the rest of their lives.
Would love to rally as much people to donate to this cause, and I hope my challenge of running 2 marathons can be something you get behind!
