Each year at Avalon Public School we remember one of our students who sadly lost her battle from a rare form of bone cancer. The courage and determination she showed touched all of us. In honour of Jessica Goozee, we celebrate her courage and strength by holding a 'Purple Ribbon Day'. On this day we raise money to donate to cancer research.
