Hi, my fundraiser is supporting Livin for Levi in memory of Levi Roodenburg.
Levi was the kind of kid who lit up every room. Full of energy, laughter and personality, he loved sport, adventure, his family and spending time with his mates. He embraced life with enthusiasm and always had a smile on his face.On 7 November 2025, Levi was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) – a rare, aggressive and incurable childhood brain tumour. Despite facing challenges no child should ever endure, Levi showed incredible courage, resilience and strength throughout his battle.
Levi's story highlights the devastating reality of DIPG and the urgent need for more research, better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. Though his time was far too short, the impact he had on those around him will last forever.
I'm fundraising in Levi's memory to support Livin for Levi and help fund vital research into DIPG and other childhood brain cancers at Children's Cancer Institute, bringing hope to families facing this heartbreaking disease.
