For Remi’s 9th birthday this year, she has chosen to raise money for children’s cancer research.
Children’s cancer is the leading cause of disease related death in children, yet it receives only a small portion of overall cancer research funding. Treatments are often outdated, harsh on growing bodies, and survival rates for some childhood cancers have barely changed in decades.
Remi’s goal is to raise $1,000, because she believes that’s lots of money. And while we know far more funding is needed to truly change outcomes, every dollar raised helps fund vital research, improve treatments, and give children and families hope.
This fundraiser is about supporting brighter futures for children facing cancer because kids deserve better treatments, better outcomes, and the chance to grow up.
