Fundraiser WOD – Calories Against Childhood Cancer

We’re proud to join CrossFit affiliates across Australia for a powerful cause: the Calories Against Childhood Cancer workout, held in honour of Aria Zimmermann.
Aria was just four years old when she was diagnosed with leukemia. Despite undergoing aggressive treatment, she tragically passed away 18 months later. Aria was bright, brave, and the best big sister. She deserved more — and sadly, her story is not unique.
Every year in Australia, over 1,000 children are diagnosed with cancer. Each week, three young lives are lost to the disease. The treatments these children receive are often outdated and developed for adults, leaving two-thirds of survivors facing long-term health issues. Childhood cancer needs dedicated research and funding.
💛 All funds raised will go directly to the Children’s Cancer Institute Australia, helping to create safer, more effective treatments for kids like Aria.

Take on the 90-minute calorie challenge!
🏃♀️🚴♂️🏋️♂️ Row, run, ski, bike, skip — however you move, every calorie counts.
Join as an individual, pair, or team and see how many calories you can complete in the time.
💥 Open to everyone — CrossFit Southern Highlands members and non-members alike!
