In Memory of Robyn Swan

Honoring Robyn's memory with a donation to the Children's Cancer Institute.

In lieu of flowers, those who knew and loved Robyn might like to make a donation in her memory. 

Robyn devoted her professional life to being a midwife and early childhood nurse, helping babies, young children and families. 

Robyn was the perfect mother and raised us with so much warmth and love which will always be grateful for.  

While we are heartbroken that Mum's time with her grandchildren was cut short, we are thankful Mum was able to know and love 5 of her grandchildren. Even in the later stages of dementia her instincts to care for and protect her kids and grandchildren were still so strong.

As many know, my son Arthur was diagnosed with cancer at 14 months old.  Art has undergone 2 years of treatment and is in remission with a very positive future ahead of him.  We are so aware that this is only possible because of decades of research into curing childhood leukemia.  Our family thought that Mum would be so grateful for donations to this charity in her honor.  

Every week, 20 kids are diagnosed with cancer. There is usually no known cause, years of treatment can steal their precious childhood and can have life long side effects.

The Children's Cancer Institute are working to find a cure for childhood cancer and create safer, more effective treatments.
