Running from the 11-17 April, 2026, the 2026 Ride for Lily sees the ride crew head from our nation's capital of Canberra, through the Alpine region in NSW and down towards Melbourne. There are massive, challenging days through the mountainous region of NSW and long days as the group heads in to country Victoria. Finishing in Melbourne, riders will be pushed and challenged on this week long journey, all with the aim of finding a cure for childhood cancer.
This epic 1000 km ride will go from ACT, through Jindabyne, Kosciusko and the alpine region of Thredbo before heading in to country Victoria, through Benalla & Bendigo. The skyline of Melbourne will be a welcome sight after a tough week in the saddle - but the effort will be worth it.
We ride for all the children who have lost their battle, for the families that continue to suffer, and for all the kids who have survived or are still fighting. We ride to fund research to find a cure so no more kids have to fight cancer.

Introducing Dr Emmy Dolman
In 2019, Emmy joined Children’s Cancer Institute from the Netherlands to commence her role as Senior Scientist in our Zero Childhood Cancer Program (ZERO). Whether you're taking part in Ride for Lily or sponsoring one of our riders, you're supporting Emmy in her preclinical research work to develop better understandings of the drivers of disease that are often unique to each child's cancer;
Live for Lily’s support of Emmy will help to make combination testing available on a per-patient basis, increasing treatment precision and build on a global knowledge base for rare cancers.
