I’m dedicating my 258km challenge to the 86 kids diagnosed with cancer every single month here in Australia. That number isn’t just a statistic — it’s 86 families whose worlds are turned upside down in an instant. Having been through something similar myself, I know the fear, the uncertainty, and the weight it places not just on the individual, but on everyone around them. It’s a journey no one should have to face… yet so many do. That’s why this means more than just kilometres to me. Every step I take is for those kids, for their strength, and for the families standing beside them through it all. And while the road can be incredibly tough, I truly believe there is always something brighter ahead — more smiles, more moments of hope, and more reasons to keep pushing forward. If this challenge can help bring even a small amount of light, support, or positivity into someone’s life… then every kilometre is worth it

Every month, 86 children are diagnosed with cancer. There is usually no known cause, treatment can go on for many years and it puts an enormous strain on family life.

So I am conquering this challenge for the 86 children who are diagnosed with cancer each month.
