I’m dedicating my 258km challenge to the 86 children diagnosed with cancer every month in Australia. Alongside my two incredible friends, we’re giving this challenge everything we’ve got to raise vital funds for these brave kids and their families. Our team, Miles for Smiles, is walking each kilometre with purpose and love. With every step, we hope to bring comfort, support, and most of all, smiles to the beautiful little faces facing battles no child should ever have to endure. If our miles can help make even the smallest difference, then every step will be worth it

I’m dedicating my 258km challenge to the 86 kids diagnosed with cancer every single month here in Australia. That number isn’t just a statistic — it’s 86 families whose worlds are turned upside down in an instant. Having been through something similar myself, I know the fear, the uncertainty, and the weight it places not just on the individual, but on everyone around them. It’s a journey no one should have to face… yet so many do. That’s why this means more than just kilometres to me. Every step I take is for those kids, for their strength, and for the families standing beside them through it all. And while the road can be incredibly tough, I truly believe there is always something brighter ahead — more smiles, more moments of hope, and more reasons to keep pushing forward. If this challenge can help bring even a small amount of light, support, or positivity into someone’s life… then every kilometre is worth it

While I don't personally know anyone impacted by childhood cancer, I want to show my support to the children and families who are impacted by it. 86 children a month is a number that sits too high, we all need to work together to spread awareness and raise money for vital research to help all the children who are fighting each and every day. Keep fighting!

I’m dedicating my 86km challenge to someone special to find a cure for childhood cancer. My son Joseph battled Rhabdomyosarcoma and dithe whole 21 months with such grace and strength. He felt so good in the year before he passed that he sneaked his footy gear to a game I was trainer for and they won... very stressful for this mumma, and then...his team went in to win the grand final. I’m dedicating my 86km challenge to someone very special, in support of finding a cure for childhood cancer. This cause is deeply personal to me. My dad battled lymphoma throughout his childhood, and my beautiful cousin faced bone marrow cancer. Their strength, and the strength of the families who stand beside children during treatment, is something that has shaped me in ways I can’t fully put into words. Childhood cancer affects more than just one person, it changes entire families and futures. This is something I hold incredibly close to my heart, and I want to do whatever I can to make a difference. Every step of these 86 kilometres is for them. Together, we can make a real impact

My dedication for Alby, Poppy Grace, Myles and all of the beautiful children and families we have met during our time at the JHH Children’s Oncolgy Unit

This cause is incredibly close to my heart. As a parent of a very small child who has relied on the resources of the Paediatric Oncology Unit, I’ve seen firsthand just how many children and families are affected by childhood cancer. I’ll be walking 86 kilometres in March for ALBY, POPPY GRACE 👼 & MYLES — but also for every beautiful child and family we’ve met during more than three years of visits to the Oncology Unit. And there have been so many ❤️
