Support my Challenge to Help Kids with Cancer!
I am taking part in 86K for a Cure to help find a cure for childhood cancer.
A little background - almost three years ago I was taking part in my first 86K for a cure challenge when we found out that my friend’s 3 year old little girl, Lucy, had been diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma - a rare and aggressive bone cancer.
Fast forward 3 years and Lucy is a vibrant 6-year-old who is full of life and defying the odds that were stacked so heavily against her.
The 86K for a cure challenge raises funds for the Children’s Cancer Institute and helps to fund vital cancer research to help kids like Lucy.
Why 86k? because every month in Australia 86 kids will be tragically diagnosed with a childhood cancer.
