Support our challenge to help kids with cancer
We are putting on the hiking boots, cycle shoes and swimmers to hike, ride and swim 86kms in memory of our fair warrior Finley and raise vital funds for childhood cancer research.
We are taking part in 86K for a Cure to help find a cure for childhood cancer.
Every month, 86 children are diagnosed with cancer. There is usually no known cause, treatment can go on for many years and it puts an enormous strain on family life. And sadly too many kids don't survive.
Our youngest son Finley died 4 and a half years ago of a diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) tumour - currently with no cure and no survival rate. We are determined to support the work of the CCI in helping find a cure.
So we are hiking the 45km Gibraltar-Washpool World Heritage Walk in northern NSW, riding 57kms of the Bobbin Head Classic and swimming 24kms during the month of March for the 86 children who are diagnosed with cancer each month - and in memory of our fair warrior Finley.
Together, we can help find a cure for childhood cancer and create safer, more effective treatments.
