I am taking part in 86K for a Cure to help find a cure for childhood cancer.

Every month, 86 children are diagnosed with cancer. There is usually no known cause, treatment can go on for many years and it puts an enormous strain on family life.

So I am conquering this challenge for the 86 children who are diagnosed with cancer each month.

Together, we can help find a cure for childhood cancer and create safer, more effective treatments.

Ako, this is Ko Pyae. Coincidently, our elder son’s name is Ethan. He passes away with childhood cancer last six years ago. When we were in YGN, we established childhood cancer foundation called Lin Thant Metta Childhood Cancer Foundation and supported a lot of kids with cancer in Myanmar. But we can’t do much about it since the coup happened. And as we just arrived to Melbourne and just trying to established our self right now, we can’t contribute much yet. But I hope we can contribute more and help a lot more with kids with cancer in Australia in near future too. Thank you for setting up this fundraising activity.
