Support my Challenge to Help Kids with Cancer!
I am taking part in 86K for a Cure to help find a cure for childhood cancer.
My daughter was one of the 86 children, she was 18 months when diagnosed with stage 4 hepatoblastoma metastatic , life changed for her overnight , her new home that year became the childrens hospital , she endured months of chemotherapy, with many complications, viruses, surgery and seizures and due to the intense chemotherapy she lost part of her hearing. My brave little fighter is now in remission, with every day that passes there is lesser chance of relapsing . She has grown and thrived over the past 15 months , causing mischief with her twin brother .
I am walking for Alexia for her twin brother Ari who walked this road beside her and for all the little warriors fighting every day
Every month, 86 children are diagnosed with cancer. There is usually no known cause, treatment can go on for many years and it puts an enormous strain on family life.
So I am conquering this challenge for the 86 children who are diagnosed with cancer each month.
Together, we can help find a cure for childhood cancer and create safer, more effective treatments.
