Please Support my Challenge to Help Kids with Cancer!

I am taking part in 86K for a Cure to help find a cure for childhood cancer.

Every month, 86 children are diagnosed with cancer. There is usually no known cause, treatment can go on for many years and it puts an enormous strain on family life.

So I am conquering this challenge for the 86 children who are diagnosed with cancer each month.

Together, we can help find a cure for childhood cancer and create safer, more effective treatments.

I was asked what motivated me to join the 258 km fundraising challenge this year. 💚


My mum fought acute myeloid leukaemia and endured two bone marrow transplants. We were blessed with 18 precious years after her diagnosis — 18 years of courage, love, and grace. Walking beside her through that journey shaped who I am.


In the past three years, I had also helped  two beautiful children who went  through blood cancer treatment. Their strength, their quiet bravery, and their smiles in the hardest moments stay with me. 


This is for my mum.

This is for those children.

This is for every family walking this path. 


It’s more than a challenge. It’s from my heart. 💚

March 2026’s “86k for a cure” mission accomplished

With my grateful heart, I am so thankful for my very kind, lovely and generous friends and supporters. It is truly a blessing and great privilege to raise fund and support life-saving childhood cancer research and help find a cure for childhood cancer. Together we can help to make lasting impacts on the lives of children with cancers and their families. 🙏🌱💚🌱🙏

Tuesday 17th Mar
I love children. In their laughter, their curiosity, and their small, unique ways, they carry purity, beauty, and a kind of perfection all their own. My heart aches for them whenever their well-being is touched, even in the smallest way. I remember sitting with my mum in the hospital, amidst her own journey through cancer treatment. We spoke of many things—conversations I will carry with me forever. One stood out most: the children facing blood cancer. Mum’s voice softened as she spoke of them. She said she felt deeply for those little ones, and reflected that she had at least been allowed to live her life, imperfect though it was, even if it might be shorter than hoped. But she insisted, with quiet certainty, that no child should ever endure what she had. I agreed with her then, with every part of me—and I continue to agree today. Doing my best to help finding a cure for childhood cancer 🪷🫶🪷
