Support my Challenge to Help Kids with Cancer!

I am taking part in 86K for a Cure to help find a cure for childhood cancer.

Every month, 86 children are diagnosed with cancer. There is usually no known cause, treatment can go on for many years and it puts an enormous strain on family life.

So I am conquering this challenge for the 86 children who are diagnosed with cancer each month.

Together, we can help find a cure for childhood cancer and create safer, more effective treatments.

Please DONATE NOW and support my challenge to change the lives of kids with cancer.

My why

Thursday 8th Jan
🎗️ I’ve signed up for the 86km Walk for Childhood Cancer this March — and I’m asking for your support. 🎗️ I’m taking on this challenge to walk 86 kilometres for childhood cancer because cancer affects everyone. We know this too well — we’ve been hit way too close to home with family members suffering, and it’s such a heartbreaking disease. I’m dedicating this walk to my husband’s, (our) little cousin Emmett, an incredible 11-year-old warrior who has been battling leukaemia with so much strength and courage. Watching him face this battle with courage and a smile is truly inspirational — but no child should ever have to go through this. It’s not fair. 💔 📊 Childhood cancer in Australia — why this matters: • More than 1,000 Australian children and adolescents are diagnosed with cancer every year • Cancer kills more children than any other disease in Australia • On average, around three children lose their lives to cancer every week • And even for survivors, around 70% experience long-term side effects from treatment No child — and no family — should have to walk this road alone 💛 Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love, encouragement, and support. Together, we can help bring hope, research, and brighter futures to children facing this battle. 🫶✨
