Support my Challenge to Help Kids with Cancer!
A month after her second birthday, our beautiful Anna was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. In an instant, our world shifted. The carefree days of toddler hood were replaced with hospital rooms, long treatments, and sleepless nights filled with worry.
For two long years, Anna faced more than any child ever should. She showed a courage that humbled us every single day. Today, she is in remission, a blessing we are will never take for granted.
We are endlessly thankful to the extraordinary doctors and nurses at Sydney Children's Hospitals Network whose compassion, skill, and unwavering care carried us through the hardest chapter of our lives.
This March, as Anna turns five, I am taking part in 86K for a Cure to help raise vital funds for childhood cancer research.
Every month, 86 children are diagnosed with cancer. There is often no known cause. Treatments can last for years, and the emotional, physical, and financial toll on families is overwhelming.
I am running 86K for the 86 children who will be diagnosed this month, for their courage, for their families, and for a future where no child has to fight this battle.
Together, we can help find a cure for childhood cancer and create safer, more effective treatments.
