Support my 172km challenge to raise funds for Childrens cancer research!!
I am taking part in 86K for a Cure to help find a cure for childhood cancer.
Every month, 86 children are diagnosed with cancer. There is usually no known cause, treatment can go on for many years and it puts an enormous strain on family life.
So I am conquering 86km for the 86 children who are diagnosed with cancer each month and for my son who was diagnosed at just 2 weeks old. I am also adding another 86kms on in memory of my dear cousin Chelsea who walked with me and raised money for CCIA last year in March. She is not with us anymore but she always supported me in all of my endeavours. So I am doubling my challenge to honour her.
My hope is that we can help find a cure for childhood cancer and create safer, more effective treatments.
