Support my Challenge to Help Kids with Cancer!

I am taking part in 86K for a Cure to help find a cure for childhood cancer.

Every month, 86 children are diagnosed with cancer. There is usually no known cause, treatment can go on for many years and it puts an enormous strain on family life.

So I am conquering this challenge for the 86 children who are diagnosed with cancer each month.

Together, we can help find a cure for childhood cancer and create safer, more effective treatments.

Please DONATE NOW and support my challenge to change the lives of kids with cancer.

My Updates

One week in

Sunday 8th Mar
It's been an adjustment getting used to the doubled walking time a day. some blisters and a hit of a rash from the heat. I managed to push through and get fairly consistent with 10 laps plus change. I have had to order new shoes as my current pair definitely will not last until the end of the month. almost no sole or heal left at all. Anyway, if I keep up the rate for another week I'll definitely have to look into extending my pledge. half way there already.

Pre event check in.

Saturday 28th Feb
On the eve of my trek, I have decided to introduce where the bulk of my kilometres will be done. I come here every day and do four laps during my lunch break (8-10 on weekends), supplemented with a 16 kilometre ride on my exercise bike after work. for the duration of march I will be swapping that around so that I have more time with boots on the ground. aiming to make that ten lap dream a daily occurrence by the end of the month. my plan is to do a write up blog post of how things are going every Saturday during March so see you all next week.

I am conquering 344km to help find a cure for childhood cancer.
