Support our Challenge to Help Kids with Cancer!

We're taking part in 86K for a Cure to help find a cure for childhood cancer.

Every month, 86 children are diagnosed with cancer. There is usually no known cause, treatment can go on for many years and it puts an enormous strain on family life.

So we're taking on this challenge throughout March for the 86 children who are diagnosed with cancer each month in Australia.

Together, we can help find a cure for childhood cancer and create safer, more effective treatments.

Thursday 5th
Thank you to all our team members and everyone who has donated so far to the Flowers For Effie team.  We have reached our target so quickly that i am extending it out to $50k. We did it in 2024 so I think we can do it again.

In honour of effie

Thursday 26th
As we reflect on our very short time with Effie, the 3 months we spent in Sydney is among our favourite memories, in particular the March of 2024. Effie was off most medication and was getting back to herself but in a new more grown up way. Between check ups at the hospital we spent our days at Coogee Beach and soaking up precious family time. Through March Dom participated in the 86k for a Cure, a charity drive set up by the Children's Cancer Institute of Australia and we went about raising an enormous amount of much needed funds for research into Children's Cancer. Without CCIA and Levi's Project, Effie wouldn't have had the opportunity to go to Sydney and we wouldn't have made these particularly special memories. This March, team Flowers For Effie is back. We will picking Flowers for Effie, sharing some insights into Effie's story and we are inviting you to join the team and/or donate to Dom's page. Details are in the links. Please share far and wide.
