In Memory Fundraiser for Hella

Mum's daughter Ingrid was diagnosed with Leukemia and unfortunately after 5 years of treatment Ingrid passed away in 1985. During Ingrid's treatment Mum began assisting with fundraising for the Children’s Cancer Institute. Mum subsequently became a member on the Board of Directors where she worked tirelessly to raise vital money for the Institute and had a close association with Lions during this time. 

Her ability in public speaking took her to many places around Australia and including Hamburg in association with the Lions. Her work for the Institute was also recognised via an Order of Australia Medal in 2003.
