Where do the funds I raise go?

You will be raising funds for Children's Cancer Institute, the only medical research institute in Australia wholly dedicated to finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Cancer kills more children than any other disease in Australia, around 12 every month, so our research is critical. For those who do survive, two thirds face the prospect of serious long-term health problems, including organ dysfunction, neurocognitive deficits, impaired fertility and secondary cancer.

Everything we do at Children’s Cancer Institute is about helping more kids with cancer not only survive their cancer, but go on to live long, healthy lives. You are directly supporting our research effort to pioneer safer, more targeted treatments for children with cancer.

Find out more about our research here.
