We’ve all known someone affected by cancer. But for many families, the unimaginable becomes reality when cancer affects a child. 

This year alone, over 1,000 families in Australia will face that heartbreak. 
What many don’t realise is that cancer remains the number one disease-related killer of children in Australia. Every week, nearly three young lives are lost. 
That number is heartbreaking — and I believe we can change it. 

That’s why I’ve chosen to step out of my comfort zone and raise funds for the incredibly brave kids who face the fear and pain of treatment every single day. 

We’re aiming to raise $5,000, which can help fund minimal residual disease (MRD) testing for children with leukaemia. This testing helps doctors detect the smallest traces of cancer left in the body, assess the risk of relapse, and adjust treatment before it’s too late.
