Donate Your Age.

Not everyone gets to live as long as you have. Show your appreciation by donating $1 for every year of life you have been lucky enough to live, and help children beat cancer.

Sadly, 3 children die from cancer every week in Australia.
These kids don’t get the chance to grow up, chase their dreams or fulfil their potential.

When you Donate Your Age, you're taking a moment to reflect and feel grateful for every year you’ve been lucky enough to live.

And you're helping our research team find a cure for every child with cancer, so that they can have the same opportunity to live a long and healthy life.

to help children beat cancer and get the chance to grow up, and grow older, like I have.

At Children's Cancer Institute, we believe a life should be long. That every child should have the chance to grow up, grow old, chase their dreams and reach their potential.

But sadly, three children will be lost to this devastating disease every week in Australia.

For 40 years, we have been conducting research into the causes, prevention and cure of childhood cancer. Our vision is to cure every single child of cancer and give them the opportunity of a long, healthy life, and we won’t stop until we get there.

Research like the Zero Childhood Cancer Program (ZERO) is helping us get there. This precision medicine research is transforming the way cancer is treated, here and around the world. But we need to continue this momentum.

Kids with cancer need our help and we need yours.

When Carys’ world was shattered by the news she had relapsed with leukaemia, her parents feared the worst.

Fortunately, Carys was enrolled on the Zero Childhood Cancer Program (ZERO). A sample of her cancer was sent to the labs at Children’s Cancer Institute where the ZERO team analysed the specific genetic make-up of Carys’ disease. The results shocked even her doctors.

ZERO revealed she actually had a very rare form of leukaemia called ph-like leukaemia which required a completely different treatment approach.

‘Without the results from ZERO, Carys would have responded to treatment, only to relapse again and again - until one day, she wouldn’t have made it. ZERO saved her life.” – Laura, Carys’ mum

Please donate $1 for every year you’ve been lucky enough to live, and help our research team to find more effective treatment options for kids like Carys, and ultimately a cure for every child with cancer.
